Mthunzi Mdwaba, of rural origins, born in Herschel, South Africa, is an endurance sportsman and now author (see shop), deal-maker, strategist and global leader. Mthunzi represented organised business within G20 and B20 forums, being part of the G20 process since 2009 till 2021. He served on the Employment and Education subcommittees, and twice co-chaired the Committees during the German and Italian G20s. He served two terms as the Chairman of ProductivitySA and also served as the Chairman of Council at the University of the Left, the University of the Western Cape(UWC).

He is a serial entrepreneur and has amongst the numerous businesses he has been involved with, in different sectors, been the CEO, Chairman of a Torque IT, a company he and his team turned around from a loss making entity(2002-2009) to a highly profitable world class technology company in 27 African countries, winning amongst others, Cisco Partner of the Year 7 times. Mthunzi Mdwaba is an established businessman, deal-maker, strategist and global leader with a vision to lead 'Global Change, Impact and Social Justice'.

He has held strategic positions within various multi-lateral bodies and served as Vice-President of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and Vice-Chairman of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Mthunzi has represented organised business within G20 and B20 forums and served two terms as the Chairperson of Productivity SA.
